The Rotovac Powerwand replaces the manual scrub wand for steam extraction carpet cleaning. Combining rotary agitation with hot water extraction, the Rotovac cleans better and leaves the carpet drier than a wand.

The Rotovac has two stainless steel cleaning heads which counter-rotate at 250 RPM. Each cleaning head has three solution jets and three vacuum slots. This produces 1500 multi-directional cleaning passes per minute… all day long.

A person with a manual scrub wand can only make around 60 two-directional cleaning passes per minute. As the person tires this number decreases, along with the quality.

  • First, the Prochem provides maximum heat – the system can maintain temperatures of 230 degrees throughout the job. The hotter the water, the greater the cleaning results as soils literally melt away and are extracted easily.

  • Second, the high-pressure system can operate up to 1200 psi. This allows the operator to inject cleaning solution deeper into the fibers of the carpet, which gives a more deep-down and thorough cleaning.

  • Finally, the system has a large blower and vacuum system, which means that it is able to extract over 90% of the water from the carpets. This translates into a quicker dry time.
